Actor Sam Smith cut his teeth (not literally) at the Manchester school of theatre after what must have been a gruelling three years. He then trained tooth and nail to gain valuable experience in all aspects of performance after he graduated in 2012. But based on his showreel he has valiantly pursed his ambition to work on intriguing projects ranging from Stage, TV and radio dramas

He’s got some nifty feet on him having been trained in ballroom dancing and contemporary dance – hold your breath ladies it doesn’t stop there! How about a sweet serenade? Sam has an amazing voice, having mastered the art of tenor and opera and can smash a window or two when he needs to belt out the odd tune.

In amidst his studies he still managed to feature in a series of award winning TV commercials in his native Ireland. And how about getting a project enlisted in The Cannes film festival? Not bad at all. Timeless Man is a short film where a scientific genius discovers the means to travel time and meet his favourite rock hero. Sam plays the role of Phil, a cocky, foul-mouthed rocker with a convincing cockney accent.

Sam is due to lend his soulful charm to a major Irish TV series Deception in the very near future. Keep your eyes on the box Ireland. His golden natural Irish charm will truly transcend him into the big league. Based on his hard work and varied experience, he is on the road to the big time.
