Roundhouse Poetry Slam 2013
You will have the chance to witness the countryʼs most talented up-and-coming young performance poets meeting in front of a live audience and a panel of top UK judges in a fortnight of exploding energy. Competitors will perform in two heats, on 14 and 21 August respectively, followed by an epic showdown during the Grand Final on 28 August.
If you are aged 16-25 and want to enter the slam to showcase your poetic and performing talents, submit two examples of your work to [email protected] by 22 July. Judges will include Glastonbury Slam Champion John Berkavitch, UK Slam Champion Stephanie Dogfoot and reknowned poet Polarbear (see video of him performing ‘Jessica’ below).
