Young-People-Working-On-Create+-Projects

Vital Youth is offering an enticing Create+ Autumn program for those aged 14-25 this year. The series of projects will run from October to December at Paddington Arts and are aimed at young people struggling with education or work. Vital Youth works hard to change young peoples’ perceptions of their own futures by emphasising the importance of honing skills that aren’t results-based, like drive and communication.

Career Shapers runs from 7 – 23 October and is an opportunity to speak to professionals and find out more about the different career paths available. There will also be a chance to put together a digital career guide for other young people to eventually use. Digital Skills Live runs in November and will give insight into the journeys of a few established musicians.

Attendees will also get to help produce a music video and work on remixing new tracks. Vital Youth Radio Project takes place in October and will develop broadcast media skills and provide experience of what it is like to work on and record a radio show.

Through Create+ young people have the opportunity to work toward the Bronze Arts Award and can also gain other literary qualifications while meeting people who are established in their field and visiting exciting new cultural events and exhibitions.
