Calling all young performers – Oliver! auditions now open
LHK Youth Theatre is looking for young performers aged 7 to 18 to participate in the auditions for Oliver! the musical, which will be held at the Epstein Theatre in Liverpool on Sunday, 6th March at noon.
LHK Youth Theatre has announced they are in search of young talents for their production of the famous English musical Oliver! which is set to kick off at the Epstein Theatre in November this year.
Auditions will be held at the Epstein Theatre on Hanover Street, Liverpool on the 6th of March, and the organisation is now calling on any talented singer, dancer, and actor, aged between 7 and 18, to audition for the family-friendly musical theatre classic.
Open to both boys and girls, the auditions also encourage all levels from beginners to advanced performers to apply, as long as they are able to sing, dance and act. Strong vocalists are particularly wanted as the producers are on the lookout for candidates to cast as some of the singing roles in Oliver!.
As LHK Productions take pride in guiding talented performers and helping beginners build a career in performing arts, participants will also gain stage experience as well as getting the opportunity to star in the musical.
Established by Lee Kelly, current managing director of LHK Productions, the Youth Theatre has since then been helping develop the talent of thousands of young people, with some of them including TV stars and West End performers.
Lee said: ‘Each year we reach out across the region to discover exceptional new talent. Our training is based on the basic principal that the best place for young people to learn about the performing arts is on stage in front of a live audience.
‘We provide a platform for young talent to be showcased on a regional, national and international stage in iconic theatres throughout the UK and beyond.’
